Hello Friend❤️,
How are you doing?
I missed writing to you and you can trust that I have written to you a thousand times in my head.😅.
Anyways, I am still in awe as to how half of the year is gone already? Didn’t we just say “Happy New Year” few days ago😂. Well, it is what it is.
Today, I thought to share with you some of my major lessons from 2025 and here it goes:
1. The word of God has to the anchor for your life:
This is my biggest lesson this year. I have had no props, just God’s word. I held on to God’s word for my job, held onto God’s word for my mum’s healing, held onto God’s word to sort me out financially, held onto God’s word for literally everything.
2. Life is in different phases of learning, you never stop learning:
Whatever you think you know now, there is still a lot to learn. I started my journey in tech law since my 400 level, however, I have had to learn a lot of new things this year. A good mindset to have is to never stop learning.
3. Settle the things that are important to you early enough in life:
I am realizing that one of the packages that come with adulting is that there are a lot of things to do and many options to pick from. If you don’t decide the things that are important to you, life will decide it for you.
If you are in a school environment, your options are somewhat limited but after graduating, your options are enormous.
This is why you need to settle the things that are important to you early enough. For example- your relationship with God, church attendance, relationship with your significant other, friendships, career e.t.c
4. God’s will for you will always be the best choice for you:
Earlier in the year, there was something I believed God for but I didn’t get it. However, I got something else. Fast forward to later in the year, I have come to realize that what I got is actually the best thing for me. In fact, it is exactly what I needed. If I got what I initially wanted, I would most likely have been regretting it now.
5. Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life:
This biblical verse is very accurate. I have had to guard my heart from every thought not in alignment with God’s word and it has paid off. I won’t believe the thought that says, “God doesn’t care about you even after serving him for years” e.t.c
6. Worry doesn’t solve anything:.
You can take it from me. Every-time I worry, nothing gets solved, rather it gets much more serious.
7. There is no perfect time:
I have realized that waiting for the perfect time to do things ends up in not doing the thing at all. If I want to do something, I act on it immediately.
8. People don’t care how much you know but how much you care:
People are drawn towards those who truly care and life is much beautiful with people who truly care.
9. Offences will always come, you either take it or leave it:
I have learnt this years ago but I am re-learning it. The only way to escape offense is to not live with human beings which is almost impossible. Hence, offences will always come. Our response is to either take it or leave it and I would say that leaving it would you more good than taking it.
10. Church is God’s agenda, do not let the Devil talk you out of it:
The easiest way the Devil takes people of God’s will for their lives is to sell a lie to them about the “church”. The church is never an enemy. It is God’s abode for believers hence should never be forsaken.
Phew! I finally did it😩. Another major lesson is to never take a break from writing because what is all these energy it took me to write this?
I had a great time writing this, I hope you also enjoyed reading it. Please, feel free to write back to me.
Cheers to the next half of the year doing great stuff and making the most of it🥂
Rooting for you always❤️,
Naomi.
Couldn't be more excited when I saw your mail.
And, as always the lessons to learn came in so timely.
Thank youuuu for writing again.🥰🤗
Till the next time you send a mail, take care of yourself, ma.❤️🔥
